No, the mock exam result will not be recognised by us. We intend to make the solutions of the mock exam publicly available, allowing candidates to utilize them for more effective preparation for the actual exam. You will not be able to verify your pass/fail result of the mock exam on our website.

• The ‘Professional’ mock exams are practical exams, just like the actual exams within the ‘Professional’ category. It requires candidates to exploit vulnerabilities, compromise hosts and applications, obtain and submit the flags to gain marks.
• The essentials mock exam also follows the same pattern as the real essentials exam. They are multiple choice questions (factual as well as scenario based).

• Professional mock exams are 60 minutes long. The exam will be a total of 60 marks-each mark representing a minute. Thus, if a question is worth 20 marks, then candidates are expected to solve that question within 20 minutes as a rough guide. 
• Essentials mock exams are 10 minutes long.
• Just like the real exam, candidates need to score at least 60% to pass the exam and 75% to pass the exam with merit.
